He respects and strictly adheres to the laws of the ancestors and teaches other wolves to live in harmony with nature. Magra always reminds his pack that they should only hunt what they need for food because “every life is sacred.”
He is planning to retire from his role as the wise and noble pack’s leader but is worried about who will be his successor. Especially since there are only two candidates: the careless Grey and the ruthless Ragear. Magra realizes that Grey is still immature and will not be able to lead and guide the rest of the pack. As for Ragear, Magra knows that if he ever became the leader, the pack would be doomed. He rules that the two contenders fight a duel, with the winner becoming the new Head of the Pack. In spite of his age Magra is still strong and as brave as he has always been.
