WILMINGTON — It was Cinco de Mayo on Sunday. So suffice it to say that there were a lot of enchiladas being served at the Point-to-Point tailgate parties atop Winterthur’s rolling hills.

The sunny day also brought out the sombreros and, being a bit on the cool side, more than a few serapes as well.

The silver, crystal, fine wine and cheese remained standard fare for a few of the thousands who came out for what amounts to a party wrapped around a handful of steeplechase horse races.
